Move over Matisse, Mondrian and Mies Van der Rohe. At the recent London Design Festival all the talk was of MINI-malism.

Running from 16-24 September, this year’s festival was a brilliant celebration of creativity, with ‘design districts’ set up right across the city. As you might expect of MINI, we took up residence in one of the hottest venues in town – Shoreditch Electric Light Station. And while we don’t like to brag (much), the immersive MINI installation by multi-award-winning visual artist Morag Myerscough made quite a splash.

With its focus on great design and sustainability, the festival was the perfect stage for two new members of the MINI family – the iconic new all-electric MINI Cooper and the adventurous new MINI Countryman.

MINI AND MORAG. AN UNBEATABLE DESIGN DUO.

With bags of positive energy, Morag Myerscough’s ‘Nice to Meet You Again’ installation reimagined what a modern city could be. People were invited to explore a magical, multi-sensory MINI world filled with greenery, life and colour. By using space imaginatively and fusing tradition with modern tech, it conjured up the sense that a cleaner, brighter future could be just around the corner. Together we can make it happen.

The instantly iconic all-electric MINI Cooper was totally at home in the super-stylish surroundings of Morag’s installation. With its minimalist looks, cutting-edge tech and range of up to 250 miles, it’s a futuristic spin on an automotive classic.

Not to be outdone, the new MINI Countryman made a big and bold statement too. Our most adventure-ready MINI yet, it gives you more space, more tech, and more reasons to go exploring – as if you needed any.
